Early Career:
He was from Andorinha, a local club in Madeira, where Ronaldo was to eventually leave for Nacional before landing a youth deal with Sporting CP. He would go on to capture the attention of Manchester United and in 2003 join the English side on a then record transfer fee of £12.24 million. Ronaldo signed for Real Madrid back in 2009 with a then-world-record price tag of €94 million.
